AMS promotions is a fully licensed and insured labour hire company. We hold HAACP certification for events involving food and our bartending staff all hold RSA licences.
The hourly rate depends on the location and duration and specific requirements of your event and the responsibilities required from the staff. Entry level staff start from $40 (+GST) per hour with a minimum 4-hour shift. Promotional models, sampling and bar staff start from $50 per hour.

We have a unique five step staffing fulfillment process:
- Specification - You give us a basic job specification from which we will provide a quote with approximate costing for your event for approval.
- Campaign Briefing – Next is an in-depth meeting with your Account Manager where we will map out all the key requirements in terms of the staff, logistics and training to ensure your project is a success. A fixed price quote will then be issued.
- Recruitment – we send a targeted shout out to the most suitable of our over 10,000 candidates inviting them to apply for the role. Our talent database allows us to prioritise hiring proven performers for the interview and selection process. We are able to supply head-shots of the staff for approval if required.
- Project Delivery – there is where your project manager books the staff for your event and gives them an in-depth briefing so they understand how to make your event an outstanding success. New staff are reference checked and inducted to ensure they understand their obligations. Our project management software sends reminders as well as SMS confirmations to all parties 24 hours prior to the event.
- Project Review – after the event, your Account Manager gets in touch to debrief the event and determine next steps if required.
Let’s face it, the best laid plans often don’t run according to plan. For important events, we often roster standby staff who are available on short notice to jump in and take over in the case of unexpected illness or accident.
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. In the unlikely event any our staff fail to be on-time or show up improperly attired for your event, their first two hours are free. (A credit will be issued to your account.) If you decide that a staff member is not suitable for the project, we can replace them given 24 hours notice.
